This how I have the radio programmed to RX a DMR system. I can see the activity light going Green but the radio does not unmute. Any thoughts on this? This is my first venture in listening to DMR.
I have the software (licensed) installed on my NX-1300 but have not been able to get the proper settings for DMR to work on Ham UHF band. Anyone with an example code plug or summary of required settings? Thanks, Chris KL4C
Just had a DM32UV delivered yesterday & it looks like a cool little radio. So far analogue UHF/VHF services working well including air band. But while I thought I knew how to set up DMR I’m having a struggle to get it working properly. I am attempting to receive Regina Public schools on 463.1625...
Good day, I've worked with decoding DMR using DSDPlus 1.074 , I have got encrypted output (Enc Group call) and information about it such as (Source, ID, Key and algorithm) . I need software that could decrypt the decoded DMR voice. Thank you
"DMR is a TDMA mode (Time Division Multiple Access) which means that it allows several users to share the same frequency channel by dividing that signal into different time slots." Since color codes are assigned to a frequency, each site has the same color code on all of it's frequencies, and time slots are pretty much a division of the same frequency, I would presume it wouldn't work.
The Department decided to move to DMR this week a Kenwood Dealer came in put every radio on a Service Monitor. As of now My NX5200, BCD160, BCD260 TRX-1 and TRX-2 receive all traffic what I noticed the most is the AUDIO on my NX5200 is so loud I have to turn the volume down 3 bars so it is not blaring.
I am trying to determine the color code on a single channel DMR system. I had DSD running and it showed me the slot, talkgroup and unit ID. But I am still unsure of the color code. I also have a BCD536HP scanner will that tell me? Anyone have any advice? Thanks
DMR, is as the others in this thread have stated. A Pro 96 would do nicely for P25. I had a Pro 96 back in the day and got lots use out of it and also beat the crap out of it. GRE's P25 audio is better than Uniden's P25 audio (not including the SDS100/200) and has AGC in the P25 audio that works well.
