Good morning, yes you are able to book on the day, we have guided tours every day (except Christmas Day) at 10.00am and 2.00pm. We also offer a 5.00pm Guided Walk in the Summer months (October - April). We add on additional guides if the numbers for each walk get high. There are wonderful Art Deco buildings along with a fabulous story of rebirth after the tragic 1931 Earthquake. Along with Art Deco, the city of Napier has a great shopping centre and beautiful sea views. If you have time, why not take a vintage car tour or further your ventures and check out our award-winning wineries within the district. Once you visit, you will fall in love with Hawke's Bay!

Hello, I would definitely recommend a visit to Napier before attending an Art Deco weekend. Coming any other time of year gives you the best options to take in the architecture of the city in the very best way. It is so much easier to go on a relaxed exploration when the city is not filled in with thousands of visitors. Coming to Napier means falling in love with Napier: the feel of the city, a perfect snapshot in time, is something which has impressed thousands of people (locals and tourists alike). Once you have taken this is, there is no doubt that you will be back to experience an Art Deco weekend: the most lively version of a true history trip!
