Seems like you have plenty of input already. Checking them all I will stuck with the advice of HOLDcrypt as a walk from Miraflores to Barranco, and perhaps take a cab back to your hotel. That will work for a short stay if that is what you have in mind. But keep in mind what follows, as you can do this walk in reverse of course, from Barranco to Miraflores stead. The main atraction in Miraflores is LARCOMAR Shopping Center and its walkways close to the cliffs on the way to Barranco (and viceversa). Pretty good restaurants are available in both districts with similar prices. Nightlife happens in both districts but more in Barranco with more affluence of young people to keep it in mind. But, if you preferred quiet nights, don't stay in the busy Barranco whose nightlife is great but noisy. Due the short distance between both districts, isn't a big deal where you stay but consider that Miraflores has the better (most expensive as well) hotels with quiet nights warranty. Now, if you are after the fun, expecting to stay late every night, Barranco is your place. Get up late and have great traditional breakfast by stepping out your place will happens in Barranco counting with its great set up, which is much better than Miraflores in terms of atmosphere and architectural/nature flavor. If you keep looking and find a hotel in Barranco with triple glass windows, and soundproof walls -Go there with my blessings and visit Miraflores as a plus.
Best restaurants with vegan options (or full vegan restaurant) in this area? Also heard there was a vegan grocery story in this district. Anyone familiar with what it is?
