The band Deerhoof will remove music from Spotify due to CEO Daniel Ek's work with the defense tech company Helsing on 'AI battle tech.'

Deerhoof announced they are leaving Spotify after its CEO, Daniel Ek, invested nearly $700 million in defense company Helsing, which makes military drones and AI defense software.

The long-running indie-rock band is protesting chief executive Daniel Ek’s military investments and also said the company “is flushing itself down the toilet”
