John Deere announces 16th round of layoffs in Iowa, this time at Ankeny plant
The latest cut by the Fortune 500 agricultural and construction equipment manufacturer marks its 16 th announced layoff over the past year. Based in Moline, Illinois, in the Quad Cities, Deere's has Iowa plants, in addition to those in Ankeny, Ottumwa and Waterloo, in Davenport and Dubuque, as well as offices in Johnston and Urbandale.
