ICC had January 12 as the deadline for all eight teams to submit their provisional squad for the 2025 Champions Trophy.

Amid the delay in announcing the squad for CT 2025, a report noted that BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla has revealed that Champions Trophy squad for India will be announced on January 18 or 19.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will take place in Pakistan and Dubai, beginning on February 19. Pakistan, the defending champions, will play New Zealand in the opening match. The tournament will follow a hybrid format due to security concerns raised by India.
