While Oklahoma State University officials continued to refuse to answer questions about the reasons for the sudden resignation this week of OSU President Kayse Shrum, OSU/A&M regents named an interim president on Friday morning.

Oklahoma State University has named Dr. James Hess as interim president following the abrupt resignation of Dr. Kayse Shrum earlier this week.

Oklahoma State University President Kayse Shrum has resigned after less than four years in office. The board has begun the search for her replacement.
