After dismissing the Houston Texans’ chance last week, it was time for Rex Ryan to eat some crow. Or in this case, chomp on a cigar. The blustery ex-NFL coach and ESPN analyst issued a mea culpa on air Sunday after saying last week that the Los Angeles Chargers “got a bye” in facing the Texans in Saturday’s AFC wild-card game.

The ESPN analyst suggested that the Chargers might have a “bye week” advantage in their matchup against the Texans.
