The Chicago Bears interviewed Thomas Brown for their head coaching vacancy on Monday after he ran the team on an interim basis at the end of the season. Brown was hired as Chicago's passing game coordinator last February.

Brown is the ninth candidate to interview with general manager Ryan Poles, president Kevin Warren, chairman George McCaskey and the search committee.

The Bears announced another interview with a candidate for their head coaching job on Monday, but it seems likely that they will be looking in a different direction when it comes time to make a hire.
