Trick Williams is already a two-time NXT Champion and has headlined multiple NXT PLEs during his time on the brand. Williams first established himself alongside Carmelo Hayes before breaking out on his own. Speaking on Tailgate Talks with DiMarco and Garcia, Trick was asked if he expects a main roster call up in the near future.

After a night of new Champions, it was time for the main event of WWE NXT New Year’s Evil. With the NXT Championship on the line, it would be Trick Williams defending his Title against Oba Femi, though it was originally supposed to be a Triple Threat with Eddy Thorpe in the mix as well.

Trick Williams believes a call-up to WWE Raw or SmackDown is in his near future.
