After dropping its first game of the 2025 season, the Florida baseball team is looking to get back in the win column on the road against UCF.

The Florida baseball team had been on an absolute roll, winning its first 11 games of the season before losing to Miami in the series finale on Sunday. UCF saw that as an opening, a weakness to potentially wiggle and exploit going into a Tuesday night home game against the team up north.

Coming off a 13-7 loss to Miami on Sunday, the No. 7 Florida Gators struggled once again in falling 13-3 on the road against UCF on Tuesday night. The Knights (9-3) took control early and never looked back to hand the Gators their second consecutive defeat in convincing fashion.

Home runs from Blake Cyr and Brody Donay were the difference Wednesday night in Florida's midweek victory over the FAU Owls.
