Universal Studios Hollywood has announced it will close for the first time since the COVID pandemic amid the Los Angeles wildfires to preserve 'safety of our team members and our guests.'

The wildfires devastating Los Angeles will force Universal Studios Hollywood to shut down Wednesday. The NBCUniversal-owned theme park intends to reopen Thursday, if weather conditions allow. The Universal lot, which borders the theme park, is open to essential employees only, with the studio assisting impacted employees.
