Alabama secured a 24-21 win against Georgia on Saturday, Sept. 27, ending the Bulldogs' 33-game win streak at Sanford Stadium in Athens. Alabama has won three straight against Georgia, last falling to the Bulldogs in the 2021 College Football Playoff National Championship.

On Monday, Alabama suffered a loss in recruiting. Four-star offensive lineman Jatori Williams has decommitted from Alabama after pledging to the program in September. “I feel like I rushed the process,” Williams said.

No. 10 Alabama won the Iron Bowl on Saturday night and clinched a berth in the 2025 SEC Championship Game, where it will take on No. 4 Georgia for the second time this season. On Sunday afternoon, Georgia head coach Kirby Smart joined a teleconference moderated by the SEC to preview the matchup with the Crimson Tide.
