Cappa joined the Bengals as a splash free-agent signing in 2022 and played in 50 games. The veteran's play collapsed last year alongside the rest of the interior offensive line, though, earning him a 50.5 PFF grade (110th out of 135).

The Cincinnati Bengals released starting right guard Alex Cappa, clearing about $8 million in salary cap space, the team said Monday.

If the Cardinals want a veteran guard, the Bengals just released one who has missed only one game in five seasons.
