Oklahoma City has revealed a 35-foot-tall cowboy boot sculpture outside the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, celebrating Route 66 and Oklahoma’s cowboy culture.
The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City preserves the history of the American West, showcasing the cowboy's role and diverse contributions to America's story.
On view through Sunday, July 12, the National Cowboy Museum's prestigious Prix de West features almost 300 works of fine art.
