In a deal that was waiting on the Super Bowl and some of the contract machinations that come with a job change, the Denver Broncos on Friday announced the hiring of Darren Rizzi as special teams coordinator/assistant head coach.

The Denver Broncos are bringing in a high-profile coach to fill their special teams coordinator position. The New Orleans Saints have hired former Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moor

Denver's head coach, Sean Payton, hired Rizzi as the Saints' special teams coordinator in 2019, and now the two will reunite in the Mile High City. The Saints had a 3-5 record under Rizzi as the interim head coach, and there were some rumblings he could've become the permanent coach this offseason.
