The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier — France's most capable — is making a stop in Subic Bay and Manila from February 21 to 23 as part of its Indo-Pacific deployment, Mission CLEMENCEAU 25.

The French aircraft carrier's visit comes as the Philippines confronted China over disputed maritime features in the region, which often led to clashes between their maritime forces.
