GREENFIELD — The Greenfield-Central school board is looking into the cost of adding artificial turf to the high school’s main soccer field.

GREENFIELD – Bulldozers and backhoes have been digging up the grass at Greenfield-Central High School’s soccer field this week with one goal: clearing the way for artificial turf.

The first big test of this latest turf project will be next year. FIFA will hold a new version of its Club World Cup in the United States for international teams representing soccer confederations.
