Minnesota Vikings quarterback JJ McCarthy is going to be a father. He and his pregnant fiance Katya Kuropas recently announced they are having a baby.

McCarthy showed flashes that he could compete with Sam Darnold for the starting job last year. He impressed in his preseason debut, completing 11 of 18 passes for 188 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in a win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
