It’s been roughly five months since Monster Hunter Wilds launched and things are rougher than ever on PC. The loot-based boss rush adventure never ran particularly great there but managed to break franchise records on Steam despite the terrible user reviews.

An upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds update is set to make some improvements to the game's generally poor performance on PC, but players are worried that Capcom isn't addressing the game's root issue.

You may recall that earlier this year your author here was quite excited about the launch of Monster Hunter Wilds. That enthusiasm, like much of the community's, was somewhat muted after we actually put a few dozen hours into the game.
