Morgan Group and Carlyle Group are moving ahead with plans for a new apartment complex in Pompano Beach after paying $18.8 million for a redevelopment site.

Morgan Group acquired an 8.4-acre waterfront development site in Deerfield Beach for $12 million, after an initial $16 million deal fell through four years prior.
