Wall Street resumed its advance on Thursday, pushing the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq closer to record closing highs as the Israel-Iran cease-fire continued to hold and a raft of economic indicators appeared to support the case for the U.

The Nasdaq 100 soared 30% in just 12 weeks, reaching new all-time highs in June 2025. While past instances of such momentum are rare, most led to extended bull markets.

The US stock market on Friday hit an all-time high, its first since mid-February. It marked the culmination of a remarkable recovery on Wall Street since flirting with bear market territory in early April.
