Eight people were taken to hospitals after being exposed to chemicals at the Byron Clean Energy Center nuclear plant southwest of Rockford, Illinois, on Tuesday.

Several factors make a site suitable for pairing nuclear power plants and data centers. A few criteria necessary for co-locating to be successful include geographic location, the availability of a nearby grid connection, water resources, a fiber network connection and workforce.

Mikhail Ulyanov warned that a projectile near Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant in Iran poses a risk for a "major nuclear disaster."
