Monrovia police responded to Santa Fe Middle School, 148 W. Duarte Rd, after receiving a call around 2 p.m. from a man saying he was on the campus with an AK-47, according to officials.

A male caller phoned the Monrovia Police Department at about 2 p.m., saying he was on the campus of Santa Fe Middle School with an AK-47 assault rifle, Lt. Michael Lee said.
