Lincoln outscored Romulus Summit North Academy, 17-6, in the final quarter to snare a 58-51 Division 2 state championship victory Saturday at Michigan State University’s Breslin Center.
Ashwood led Summit Academy (24-4) with 11 points and Amir Perryman had 10 and five assists. Lincoln (23-4) is the first Division 2 team to repeat as champions since Lansing Sexton (2011-12).
