The University of Prince Edward Island says everything is on track for the August opening of the province's new medical school, which will be a regional campus of Memorial University in St. John's.

The only university on Prince Edward Island, UPEI has nine faculties, including veterinary medicine, business, nursing and the faculty of Indigenous knowledge, education, research and applied studies.
