The U.S. Naval Academy has unveiled the NASA-inspired uniforms it will wear during this year's Army-Navy football game on Dec. 10 featuring iconic NASA logos.

A long-lasting rivalry that first reached outer space almost 60 years ago is bringing NASA's history onto the football field with this year's Army-Navy Game.

Alan Shepard – Naval Academy Class of 1945 – was the first American in space and was one of NASA’s first seven astronauts. The most recent Navy graduate to go to space is Kayla Barron.
