To help sleep-deprived students, Emporia State University is installing soundproof sleep pods for naps on campus. They include a twin bed, nightstand, charging station and window blinds for privacy.

The University of Akron has added nap pods at three campus locations. The pods are available to students for 20-minute naps to boost their moods, creativity and focus, the university said.

The university held a ribbon cutting ceremony to show off their latest pod. It was funded by the state’s legislature. They are hoping to place more of the nap pods in the coming future.
