WWE had already announced that Dominik Mysterio would be back in action defending his AAA Mega Championship against Vikingo at Worlds Collide on March 21, but it seems like fans won’t have to wait that long for the champ’s in-ring return.

One of the major reasons behind the lack of title defenses could be his injury in late 2025 that sidelined him. Given that the Intercontinental Title seemingly thrives on being defended regularly, WWE should crown a new champion to increase the frequency of title defenses.
