Hansen’s mother, Karen Mitchell, first brought her cherished bread recipes to Model Bakery when she purchased the business in 1984, but it has been a fixture in downtown St. Helena for decades.

Croissanté, a French bakery with locations in Santa Clara and Los Gatos, will open in the space that previously housed beloved dive bar Antonio’s Nut House, confirmed Croissanté owner Sean Kang.
