The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says multiple people were arrested for a drug trafficking operation through a search warrant.

Michael Wiseman, identified by the Scottsdale Police Department as its "#2 most wanted fugitive," was arrested in France on Nov. 1 after nearly 14 years on the run, the department said in a news release.

Three people were arrested – including a juvenile with a murder warrant – following an attempted shooting in Colerain Township. Police responded to the 9700 block of Stadia Drive on Nov. 8, where they said a 17-year-old male fired at an 18-year-old woman and missed, according to a statement from the township.

Aurora has passed an ordinance banning federal agents from using city property to arrest immigrants without a warrant. However, there are questions about how effective these types of laws are.
