Ahead of that we will see some much needed rain across our area including isolated thunderstorms which will have the potential of producing heavy downpours. The downside is that the storms have the potential for gusty to damaging winds, frequent lightning and the threat of small hail can't be ruled out, according to Sherman.

Early morning storms have moved out for Monday morning. Expect a mostly sunny and warm day with light winds and highs in the mid 80s.

Wednesday will be another foggy start for parts of Southeast Texas, especially towards the coast. Temperatures once again will soar well into the 80s by the afternoon with a few more clouds around.

Sunshine start the day here in the Mid-South and cloud cover finished the day, but the dry pattern continues and clouds will break tonight. Clouds will increase by the end of the week, but we will enjoy more mild temperatures and a mainly dry pattern.

These next few days will feature more blue skies than we have had the last couple days, but more mixed precipitation and snow remain in the forecast this upcoming weekend.
