The White House and Denmark contradicted each other in public about what they had agreed to this week as President Trump continued to demand U.S. ownership of Greenland.

The foreign ministers of Greenland and Denmark say differences remain about Greenland's future after meeting with officials at the White House on Wednesday. In the meeting, the Danes reiterated the territory is not for sale,

There was no major breakthrough during the meeting, and President Trump reiterated his interest in acquiring the island shortly afterwards.

Vice Pres. JD Vance and Secy. of State Marco Rubio met with Danish diplomats at the White House. It comes as Denmark increases its military presence in Greenland and asks NATO allies to help.
