Presidents Clinton, Bush, Obama, Biden, and Trump were all at Washington National Cathedral today to honor Carter.

Photos at the funeral show President Joe Biden, president-elect Donald Trump and former presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama and sitting in two adjacent rows. First ladies Hillary Clinton, Laura Bush, Jill Biden and Melania Trump were also in attendance.

President Joe Biden spoke of his friendship with Jimmy Carter that started in 1974 when Biden was the first sitting Democratic senator to endorse the late president.

U.S. Former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton were among the guests at the State Funeral Service for former U.S. President Jimmy Carter on Thursday. The event was held at the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.

Obama sat next to Trump and the two longtime political rivals chatted amiably as the dignitaries filed in for the service.

Nearly two weeks after former U.S. President Jimmy Carter died at the age of 100, public figures including President-Elect Donald Trump and former President Barack Obama, gathered to honor him.

The inauguration was the second gathering of U.S. presidents and their spouses that Michelle Obama has missed in recent weeks.
