Jim Harbaugh’s offseason plans include undergoing two medical procedures. During his end-of-the-year news conference Wednesday after his Los Angeles Chargers lost in the AFC Wild Card round to the Houston Texans on Saturday, the 61-year-old head coach said he will have a cardiac ablation as well as hip replacement surgery “soon.”

ESPN’s Kris Rhim reported that Harbaugh will undergo a cardiac ablation and hip replacement surgery this offseason. Jim Harbaugh said that he will have a cardiac ablation this offseason. He also said he will have hip replacement surgery. Jim Harbaugh has a noticeable limp, and hip surgery will address that situation.

Harbaugh’s antics can seem cliche and even corny at times, but every one of them has a meaning and makes an impact.
