The Kraken announced Wednesday that they’ve placed goaltender Philipp Grubauer on waivers. He will be reassigned to AHL Coachella Valley if he clears. Grubauer is the second high-profile veteran in as many days to hit the waiver wire,

The Kraken will now turn to Joey Daccord, while if not claimed, Grubauer will get a chance to get out of his rut. Grubauer won the Stanley Cup with the Washington Capitals in 2018.
