DirecTV is launching a package aimed at viewers who watch mostly sports.
DirecTV has a new streaming service called MySports available now with 40 channels including ESPN, Fox Sports and NFL Network in 24 cities.
The MySports package will normally be priced at $69.99 per month. Customers who sign up online for the package before Feb. 28, 2025, are eligible to receive MySports for $49.99 per month for the first three months. The company also is offering a free five-day trial of DirecTV MySports.
At launch, the platform will cost $50 per month for the first three months. After that, all subscribers will transition to the regular price of $70 per month.
After the whole Venu Sports debacle, which ended with the sports streaming service being canceled before it was born, DIRECTV announced its own sports-centric package, MySports.

DirecTV was involved in a nearly two-week dispute with Walt Disney Company last September over a new carriage agreement where DirecTV sought the ability to offer skinnier bundles of channels. As part of the agreement, DirecTV is able to offer Disney-owned channels in sports, entertainment and kids and family bundles.
