The Texas A&M basketball sure doesn't like to make things easy on themselves, but as the saying goes, a win is a win. On Saturday night, the Aggies jumped out to good lead and almost lost it in the second half on the road against South Carolina before ultimately winning 76-72 and picking up an SEC road win.

The battle between No. 2 South Carolina and No. 4 Texas doesn't have a long list of games, but now the two programs are both in the SEC. South Carolina has won three in a row in the series, however. With just five meetings between these powerhouses, the series is tight at 3-2 in favor of South Carolina.

While Aggie fans have been on the edge of their seats throughout the 2025 season, Texas A&M's 17-5 record and 6-3 standing in SEC play have been impressive.
