Palestinian authorities said on Friday that Israeli soldiers had stormed eight mosques around the city of Nablus in the north of the Israeli-occupied West Bank and set fire to one of them.
The Israeli regime has been tightening the grip on occupied West Bank and Al-Quds, with occupation forces stepping up raids and arrests on Friday, as well as imposing oppressive restrictions on prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque on the holy month of Ramadan.
The raids were the latest in Israel’s ongoing military escalation in the West Bank, where at least 926 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 7,000 injured in attacks by the Israeli army and illegal settlers since the start of the onslaught against the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, 2023, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
