PHILADELPHIA — On the first drive of Sunday’s NFC divisional round game against the Los Angeles Rams, Eagles rookie cornerback Quinyon Mitchell suffered a shoulder injury, which he is questionable to return with, according to the team.

Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith forced two fumbles in the snow that led to two fourth-quarter field goals as the Eagles outlasted the Los Angeles Rams 28-22 in the snow to advance to the NFC Championship game.

On the final play of the first quarter, Matthew Stafford dropped back and launched a deep ball in Robinson’s direction. Robinson was undercut by Eagles cornerback Isaiah Rodgers, who got his hands on the ball first. But Robinson refused to be denied, ripping the ball away from Rodgers to turn an interception into a 48-yard gain for the Rams.
Philly benefitted from a fortunate turnover early in the fourth quarter when star defensive tackle Jalen Carter delivered a perfect punch to knock the ball out of Rams running back Kyren Williams's arms. Eagles corner Isaiah Rodgers then scooped up the fumble and ran it for 40 yards into Rams' territory before getting tackled.
