The hospitals intend to launch what will be known as the Kinder Children's Cancer Center in early 2026. MD Anderson will close its Children's Cancer Hospital, with patients moving to Texas Children's.

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and Texas Children’s Hospital announced a joint venture dedicated to pediatric cancer care that is expected to launch in early 2026.
