Video surfaced showing 2012 NFL MVP Adrian Peterson and another man exchanging punches after a dispute during a poker game last month in Texas.

On May 27, JokerStars in Houston, Texas briefly became the sight of some Old West-style violence when former NFL running back Adrian Peterson got into a fistfight over a hand of poker.

Peterson, 40, was involved in this altercation on May 27 at the JokerStars club in Houston ... and the video is of course going viral. Peterson forged a 15-year NFL career from 2007 to 2021.

Peterson rose to fame during his days with the Minnesota Vikings, where he posted seven 1,000-yard seasons, including a 2,000-yard season in 2012, something nine running backs have ever accomplished.
