Georgia winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia on Friday completed a move to Paris Saint-Germain from Italian league leaders Napoli, the French champions announced.

"Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the signing of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The 23-year-old winger, who will wear number seven, becomes the first Georgian player in the club's history," said a PSG statement.

Paris Saint-Germain Football Club on Saturday officially announced an agreement to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the winger for Georgia's national football team, from the Italian club SSC Napoli, on a long-term contract until 2029.

Kvaratskhelia joined Napoli in a €13.3m transfer from Dinamo Batumi in the summer of 2022. He was voted Serie A 's most valuable player in 2022-23 after he scored 12 goals and set up 13 more in 34 league games in his first campaign to help the club win its first Scudetto in 33 years.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was set to undergo a medical with Paris Saint-Germain on Friday ahead of his expected transfer to the 12-time French champions.
