A wall will soon wrap around most of Morgan State University — one of several new security measures prompted by an on-campus shooting that left five people wounded earlier this month.

In response to the shooting that injured five people at Maryland’s Morgan State University, the campus will be expediting a project to build a wall encircling 90% of the school.

Morgan State University was founded in 1867 by the Baltimore Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church. A historically black institution, it seeks to serve students of all races and ethnicities.
