Denver's head coach, Sean Payton, hired Rizzi as the Saints' special teams coordinator in 2019, and now the two will reunite in the Mile High City. The Saints had a 3-5 record under Rizzi as the interim head coach, and there were some rumblings he could've become the permanent coach this offseason.

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton has shown he is more than willing to bring in players who once coached while he was with the New Orleans Saints. But the team has yet to try that with one of the big names from his New Orleans past.
