As a prelude to summer, the museum will host Candy Buechler at 1 p.m. Saturday. Buechler is a direct descendent of Marie Rouensa, the daughter of Kaskaskia Indian Chief Rouensa.

At 1 p.m. on May 21, the series will present "Marie Rouensa: The Life of a Kaskaskian Indian" with Candy Duethler, a direct descendant of Rouensa's.
