Nuñez has a particularly interesting military background in that his father is a retired Spanish Navy pilot who was in Nuñez's shoes 25 years ago. He now conducts training at the Naval Academy.

Princess Leonor of Spain has started her second year of military training. King Felipe and Queen Letizia's 18-year-old daughter arrived at the Naval Military Academy of Marín on Aug. 29.
