In a potentially groundbreaking crossover event that promises to combine the worlds of track and field and professional football, American gold medalist sprinter Noah Lyles and five-time NFL All-Pro Tyreek Hill are set to face off in a head-to-head race.

Hill has run a 40-yard dash at an NFL workout in 4.29 seconds. Lyles won the 100 meters at the Olympics last year in 9.784. Most likely, they'll race at a distance in between. People said the race will happen sometime before the national championships in July.
