The city of Los Angeles has launched an online tool to help people affected by recent wildfires by simplifying the task of applying for assistance.

Mayor Karen Bass along with the Mayor's Fund launched the comprehensive site for personalized action plans, tailored to individual needs, based on fire zones.

The Eaton Fire is almost completely contained in the Altadena area northeast of Los Angeles. On the LA County coast, the Palisades Fire is over three-fourths contained. The Hughes Fire, which broke out in the Lake Castaic area Wednesday north of Los Angeles, is over 50% contained.
