One person has died and two people were hospitalized with injuries following a shooting that took place during a sideshow in East Oakland over the weekend.

The three gunshot victims got their own transportation to a hospital where the still unidentified man was pronounced deceased.

Police are investigating after one person died and two others were injured during a shooting at a sideshow Sunday night in Oakland's Eastlake neighborhood, authorities said.

Yet another street takeover ended in violence recently, and yet again someone died. This time it was in Oakland, California, a hotbed of the movement and reputedly the birthplace of the street takeover or sideshow scene.

Three people were shot, one of them fatally, when gunfire erupted during a sideshow in Oakland on Sunday night, police said. The shooting occurred around 7:45 p.m. in the area of East 12th Street and Ninth Avenue.
